Early morning, the representative will pick up you from your hotel in Luxor to provide the adventure of discovering the west bank, transfer to marine enjoy soft drink and take the motor boot to the west bank, then you will be taken to the take off area where you will begin your balloon flight, see Luxor from above and enjoy the early morning sun above the desert, it is an experience will not forget, watching the unique valley of kings, the valley of queens the mortuaries temple of Hatshepsut, Ramses II, Habu temple, the Colossi of Memnon and other sites through the sky, the balloon takes 45 minutes to fly in the air and then you will be transferred to your hotel.
Your stay in Luxor would not quite be the same without a bird’s eye view of the city from one a hot air balloons. Departing from your Luxor hotel or cruise ship just before dawn, cross the River Nile to the West Bank – where your hot air balloon awaits. After a safety briefing and introduction to your ground crew and pilot, you will climb into the balloon's basket and get ready for lift off. It is then time for the gentle rise into the dawn sky. Away from the daytime crowds, you will drift peacefully over the west Bank of Luxor and sights such as the monuments of Thebes. The early morning sun rising over the East Bank will illuminate the city and the surrounding mountains.

I give this experience a 5 out of 5. Radwa helped us so much with the booking, and explained everything to us. She was very kind and amazing. It is something i would recommend to everyone. The agency planned everything. A car came to pick us up and brought us back to our hotel. The hot air balloon is something everyone should try. The view was breathtaking, something i never experienced before. I never expected to like it this much.

It was amazing. Something i didn’t expect. The whole trip whent perfectly. Radwa was very friendly. She showed us al the activities and is always available when you need her. I would definitely recomand the hot air balloon. You also get explanation during the flight with a breathtaking view.

We did the hot air ballon today and we really enjoyed it. Sure it is an early morning with sunrise but 100% worth it. The view from above is breathtaking and the temples from above an interesting view. We recommend doing it while in Luxor/ Egypt :)

So glad we booked this trip, it was a last minute decision. If you are going to Luxor don’t miss out on factoring this into your plans. Worth the early wake up time for a once in a lifetime air balloon ride. The views of the temples and valley of the kings at sunrise was breathtaking.

INCREDIBLE AERIAL VIEWS over the ancient Luxor with its magnificent temples, tombs, monuments etc. It was BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS! We booked the 6:30 am ride with prompt pick up, then we had to take a short boat ride to the west side of the river. We watched as numerous extremely large balloons were slowly inflated in front of us. After a magnificent ascent, the BREATH TAKING & STUNNING SUNRISE over Luxor, was accentuated by the colorful balloons up in the sky, in our midst. We had an EXCELLENT CAPTAIN (Atmef?, not sure of the spelling) who pointed out several important ancient sites below & who made several turns so everyone in the basket could marvel at the sights at various angles. His landing was smooth & despite the unpredictable winds, he managed to land at almost the same spot where we took off. The cost was affordable with ALASKA BALLOONS LUXOR (excellent communication using What’s Up). I canvassed several tour groups that offered this activity & some of the prices were exorbitant. There was a few that quoted a price that’s about double of what I paid for. So, please research the prices before booking. It was truly a REMARKABLE & UNFORGETTABLE experience. A MUST when in Luxor!
