A day family trip with Mr Ahmed Shawky to West Bank Luxor

During our family trip to West Bank Luxor, we had the incredible opportunity to explore the ancient wonders of this historical region with Mr. Ahmed Shawky, a knowledgeable archaeologist. Traveling with my family, including my 9-year-old son, made this adventure even more special. From the moment we met Mr. Shawky, it was clear that his passion for Egyptology was contagious. He had a natural ability to engage with children, and my son thoroughly enjoyed the journey, thanks to the guide's interactive approach. Mr. Shawky made history come alive with exciting stories and fascinating facts, capturing my son's imagination. As we wandered through the Valley of the Kings, Mr. Shawky expertly guided us through the tombs of the pharaohs, sharing captivating tales about their lives and the rituals associated with their burials. My son was particularly intrigued by the stories of ancient treasures and the mysteries surrounding them. Mr. Shawky encouraged him to ask questions, creating a fun and educational atmosphere. Visiting the tomb of Tutankhamun was a highlight for our family. Mr. Shawky explained the significance of the artifacts found within, and my son was wide-eyed with wonder as he learned about the history behind each piece. The guide’s enthusiasm sparked a genuine interest in ancient Egypt for my son, making it a memorable experience for him. Exploring various temples around was another unforgettable part of our trip. Mr. Shawky shared the stories behind the architecture and the symbolism in the carvings, captivating both my son and us as parents. His ability to relate complex concepts in a way that was engaging for our child was truly remarkable. Throughout our journey, Mr. Shawky also emphasized the importance of preserving these archaeological sites for future generations. His dedication to conservation resonated with our family and inspired us to reflect on our role in protecting our shared heritage. Overall, our experience with Mr. Ahmed Shawky in West Bank Luxor was not only educational but also inspiring. His expertise and passion for archaeology illuminated the wonders of ancient Egypt, leaving us with lasting memories and a newfound appreciation for this extraordinary civilization, especially for my son, who will cherish these moments for years to come. He is highly recommended as guide .

A fascinating place with so much to see. Highly recommended

Abdallah Fouad was very experienced and very knowledgeable about Egyptian history. He had studied back in the UK and his English was impressive. Really enjoyed the tour and would strongly recommend to anyone. Private tours are much better because you don't have to wait around for other people. Highly recommend a visit to the Valley of the Kings with a very good guide. Thank you Abdallah!
