Awesome time in Egypt

We used this agency to organize our trip to Egypt and we are absolutely delighted with the service. Everything was extremely simple and fluid: I filled out the form on their website and was contacted very quickly via WhatsApp. We were able to organize everything directly by message, which was really convenient. The team was very responsive and attentive to offer us two private and personalized excursions for two people. We spent two exceptional days in Luxor, with one night in an absolutely excellent five star hotel. Everything was perfectly organized, from our arrival at the airport until our departure. We had a passionate guide and a dedicated driver throughout our stay in Luxor, which made the experience even more comfortable. Our guide, Romany, was simply exceptional: passionate about the history of Egypt, very cultured and really pleasant. He even helped us organize a hot air balloon flight over the Luxor Valley, an unforgettable experience. We also spent a day in Cairo with our Hanane guide and a dedicated driver. Here again, impeccable service from start to finish: pick up from our hotel and accompaniment all day. We visited the pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Khan el-Khalili souk in perfect conditions. From start to finish, we felt accompanied and confident. Professional organization, passionate guides, personalized service: we recommend this agency with your eyes closed!

An unforgettable day trip

Very positive. From the first contact until we were neither back at the hotel a carefree package. The driver was friendly and accommodating, our guide gave us a lot of information and we could ask questions at any time. The ride on the Nile was just for both of us. We would book a trip here again anytime.

If you are interested in Egyptian history, such tour should book

Your excursion program to Luxor is wonderful. We would also like to express our sincere thanks for the accommodation of a short-term change. Yesterday we had our day trip Luxor private with 3 instead of 4 people. Our two drivers took us safely and very well all the way to Luxor and back. Our local tour guide was "Professor" Naschaat. Mr. Naschaat has a great way of passing on his knowledge with perfect German to his guests. He made us aware of so many small things that we would not have noticed on our own. With him, you realize that he is happy at work, which he makes his guests feel. His ideas to make some changes of plans for 2 goals were received skeptically at first but later with so much joy and happiness. These tours were great. Luxor Temple, Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Medina were ultimately the destinations; the two outer destinations are also definitely worth to be included in the program in general. Lunch was a crowning achievement. Mr. Naschaat, have a thousand thanks. 🥇

Perfect organization and top service

We did several tours in Egypt with Memnon travel / luxury travel Hurghada and were consistently enthusiastic. Everything was perfectly organized – from the first contact to the implementation of the excursions. The drivers were very reliable, the vehicles clean and comfortable, and the guides extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We particularly appreciated the clear communication and flexibility. Changes and special requests were taken into account without any complications, which is not a given. For anyone looking for a reputable and professional provider in Egypt, we can recommend Memnon Travel 100 percent. We would definitely come back! Greetings Yannick

Beautiful day in and around Luxor

Our trip from Marsa Alam to Luxor booked through Memnon trips was very impressive and will stay with us for a long time. We were picked up on time at 3.00 a.m. with a modern minibus. The ride, with a 15-minute break halfway through the route, was pleasant, even if it took 5 hours. Our guide Naschaat Obaid Saad, who introduced himself in perfect German as a former university professor of hieroglyphics, is a very emphatic and friendly man. His first recommendation was to change our original plan in terms of the selection and order of sights to avoid the tourist crowd at the main towns and also to see more beautiful, individual and detailed temples. For example, we exchanged the Karnak Temple for the Luxor Temple and the Hatshepsut Temple for the Valley of the Workers with the small but beautiful Hathor Temple. What our guide showed and explained to us there, often referring to his conclusions set out in several books, was very insightful and inspiring. We skipped the Nile cruise and lunch to have more time for the impressive buildings. Changing the daily schedule was probably a good thing, although we can only guess this, of course, for lack of comparison. Overall, it was an unforgettable day for us! Other reports suggest that the described change in the daily schedule is a more frequent practice. So, if this has already proven successful, it would certainly make sense and fair if Memnon also recommends this in advance or at least raises it, because as inexperienced travelers who depend on good ideas, we were caught off guard a bit and also exchanged places with higher admission fees for cheaper ones, without the difference having been raised. We would also recommend that you plan to pay in cash for such excursions, which will be done immediately at the start of the journey. We could only pay through PayPal, for which Memnon charged us a 10% surcharge - what PayPal apparently charges in Egypt as a fee.

Very outstanding and unforgettable!

What a wonderful day! The team of Memnon Egypt travel goes out to thank you for the excellent and smooth preparation and execution of our Luxor day tour. Ibrahim, our driver, was at the hotel at the appointed pick-up time and drove us safely and professionally to Luxor. We are grateful to him for all the information along the nearly 4 hour drive. In Luxor our guide Dr. Naschaat Obaid Saad welcomed us, who accompanied us throughout the day in Luxor. He imparted his in-depth knowledge of the culture and history of Egypt in the time of the Pharaohs to us in perfect German in an understandable and comprehensible manner. His willingness to respond to our ideas and wishes, even off the program, gave us exciting and impressive insights into the high culture of ancient Egyptians. Dr. Naschaat Obaid Saat is an excellent guide that we can only recommend to any interested guest. We are convinced that there is no better place for a Luxor stay. The team, guide and driver, are guarantors for an unforgettable day in Luxor. Thank you very much and thank you very much. Gudrun and Detlef - 11.01.2026
