Around 5:30 a.m. we take a short break in a restaurant. We arrive in Cairo around 8 a.m. and first take a small city tour of old Cairo so that you can get to know real life in Egypt better. Then we visit the Egyptian Museum, the treasury of 7000 years of civilization. The legacies of ancient Egyptian culture are preserved in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, one of the most important museums in the world. They tell the story of an intelligent people. We then have lunch in a typical local restaurant and then drive to Giza, where we visit the Pyramids, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. The pyramids are certainly the most spectacular evidence of a high culture on the Nile.

The mysterious sphinx The Great Sphinx in Giza is a mythical creature with the body of a lion (the power) and the head of a human being (the prudence). It lies on the eastern side of the Chafre pyramid and is directed directly from west to east, which is why it was later considered to be the embodiment of the sun god (Hour Am Achet). The Sphinx has been the guardian of the pyramids since its inception.

Incredible day of my life

planned this trip witz memnon weeks before my holiday ok whats app. driver was very very nice he had also cold drinks in the car…we picked up the guide in cairo also very very friendly, said to him that I had sole special wishes (wanted to enter the cheopspyramid, and wanted a camelride)…first we had a tour of cairo itself in car the guide explained the history of cairo and how the people live here…after we got to the egyptian museum where the guide managed to get us in before all other tourist groups….he asked immediatly if I want to stay witz him the whole time at the museum or if he should just explain the highlights and after I could explore the museum myself…I stayed with him he was an incredible good guide…..after the museum he asked me my eating preferences and brought me at a buffet restaurant with grill…..after eating we got to the pyramids of giza…because my extrawish he brought me immediatly to the entrance of the cheopspyramid (was very hard to get to the burialchamber)….after he showed and explained me the pyramids and tombs of giza…we went to a overview point where I could make the best pictures with all the pyramids…after on my wish he arranged me a camelride (a dream on a camel in front of the pyramids….last stop was the sphinx amazing….after an incredible day the driver brought me back to hurghada …thank you memnon for this unforgettable trip…..Faltz Andy 35 years frim Luxembourg

Visited Cairo with a small group. Arrived by plane. Everything Was fine and well planned from Memnon. Our guide spoke perfectly german and had such a lot to show and to tell it was really, really amazing!!!

Awesome Tour to the pyramids and Cairo

100% recommendation. We had a professional organized tour with memnon tours to cairo and the pyramids from hurghada. Contact via whatsapp was quick and easy and all our questions were answered quickly. Everything was as described and well organized. We had a fantastic tour with jacob who told us so many interesting facts about cairo and the pyarmids. He adjusted the tour to our wishes, e.g. we could stay longer at the pyramids. He is an awesome guide, friendly, caring and when we come again to cairo we will definitily book another tour with him.

Cairo tour - great trip!

We booked the trip to Cairo as a couple (not a group or minibus, but a normal car), including a guide, from Hurghada. First of all, it's a long drive where you should try to sleep in the car. Apart from that, we were super satisfied. Our driver Ali, was crazy sympathetic and we felt very comfortable. Arriving in Cairo, we met Magdy Gahly, our guide and private Egyptologist, who guided us through the magnificent Egyptian museum in nearly perfect German. Magdy explained everything very clearly and accurately, so that no questions remained unanswered. After lunch we went to a restaurant, which was hardly distinguishable from the buffet cuisine in the hotel, but offered a great view of the Giza plateau. Afterwards, we went to the pyramids, the mortuary temple of Chefren and of course the Sphinx. Again, Magdy knew how to captivate us with a lot of information and expertise. In short, the trip was great and the great guidance and our safe and funny driver Ali more than made up for the long journey. We are so satisfied that we booked Luxor and Karnak immediately afterwards. Are already curious what awaits us.

perfect and amazing

booking my tours to luxor and cairo with memnon really was the best decision! i took 2 private tours and the money was really well spent with them. The guides were sososo friendly and told me such interesting information the whole day long. They told me so many things i haven‘t heard before, translated hyroglyphes and could answer all the questions i had. The guides took care of me and i felt so safe with them, also they aceeded to my wishes and changed the plan in Luxor when i spontaneously felt like changing it. also their german was really good and the communication between us was so unproblematic. the food which is included was delicious and in the buffet is also enough included for vegetarians. i have to say it again, it really was sooo tasty! i am amazed by how well everything was organized and the effort of management they have. it is so worth your money. also beforehand you can message with them easily through whatsapp and they will offer you a plan/program which can also be individually changed and include your wishes - but as mentioned before they also were so spontaneously and changed the plan for me also on the day i took the trip. so i am extremely happy with my experience and still overwhelmed by their friendliness and openness. also the driver was amazing and he drove safely on the streets and also we had such great conversations during the drive! he gave me information about living in egypt and so many other things. it was so perfect and from my heart i can only recommend it.
