Great night/day trip to Luxor
Had a great day on this tour. Hot air balloon at sunrise was beautiful and amazing views...
The rest of the day was packed with trips to the valley of the Kings and temples, guided by our very experienced, knowledgeable and very friendly guide Ahmed Bahaa.... His enthusiasm and ability to articulate the history was second to none and we were very lucky to have him.
We were picked up by taxi at 11pm and it was a long drive from Hurghada to Luxor. But trick is to go well prepared, comfy clothes, shoes and a pillow for the long journey. Lunch at the restaurant delicious too...
All in all a great day and certainly value for money. Thank you

Exciting adventure with few things to improve
The whole Luxor experience was great. Only big disappointment was the Hot Air Baloon was cancelled due to weather condition. The weather was great on the day actually🤷♂️. Our tour guide Ahmed Bahaa was brilliant, very professional and knowledgable. We couldn't go for lunch and the remaining of the places as we were really exhausted after overnight on the road and heat during the day. Our driver Bomba was very friendly and drove us from 1:30am to 2pm out and back to our hotel. One other disappointment was the Felucca ride was quite short due to the break down of our boat after 10 mins, another boat had to push our boat back to the starting place.
Overall experience was quite nice, some points to improve:
1. If governnent can inform travel agency much earlier about cancelling Hot Air Baloon, we could rearrange another day instead (the previous day was still allowed which was windier). This is not travel agency's fault.
2. The A/C in the car could be on for longer as most of the trip time the windows were open instead of A/C.
3. Might have few more boats as reserve in case one broke down for Felucca ride.

Not Worth the Money
After having an excellent private tour of Cairo we had high hopes for our Luxor trip. Sadly it was not worth the money. First our ballon trip was cancelled not by the tour operator but by the government. This was a disappointment but we did receive a $40 refund. There was confusion over our pick up time and we were unable to sleep in the car. Very loud. We met our guide but she spent a lot of time on her phone and did not show us around some of the temples as we saw other guides doing. At one point she was on her phone so long we just started going around the temple by ourselves. We were not impressed by our guide. She would go sit in the coffee shop and wait for us. I think we could have picked a cheaper and better tour. We paid for a private guide who chose to be on her phone most the day. It was also only a half day trip not a full day. That was disappointing too.
