Sights were fantastic, but our tour guides were not. Both had fairly heavy accents. One spoke so fast it was hard to take in. The other had trouble understanding our questions; had to repeat or rephrase several times. He would quickly run through some highlights of a site and then leave us on our own to"expore" for most of the time. Not sure whether he was just checked out or simply had very limited knowledge of the attractions. Also, the food on the boat, although plentiful, was mediocre, especially the desserts all bland.

Amazing tour!
We had a wonderful experience with Egypt Unlimited Tours. It truly was a 5 star tour. They took care of us providing personalized service from the time we stepped off the plane in Cairo until we boarded for our return home. Accommodations were all 5 star including our Nile cruise ship MS Medea. There were four of us and we were so happy that we chose this tour when we saw the large crowds on other tours jostling each other to get close to the major attractions. We were able to tailor our days to our specific interests. Our guides were the best. We had Harris with us in Cairo and Mustafa with us starting in Aswan until we boarded the plane in Luxor for our return to Cairo. We learned so much not just about the history but also the spiritual relevance of the sites we visited. We also were treated to the favorite local cuisines of our guides and best shopping areas. Our grand finale was after hours private entry to all chambers inside the Great Pyramid that Mohammed was able to arrange for us at our cost. If you want a personalized 5 star experience and to learn more than just the facts about the pyramids of Egypt we highly recommend this tour.

To flee, I do not recommend
Very expensive company that changes the basic program. We had to go down the Nile in the Miriam boat (which vaguely justified the price of the agency), but in the end we ended up in a much lower quality boat and an unkind crew (except one of the chefs)
At the level of guides, throughout the stay, we had three different ones: two excellent and one that just recited the history book and was relatively contemptuous. The downside of agency guides is that they always point us towards shops often linked to them and at much higher prices than in other places.
The advice I could give is to run from the agencies. Transport is cheap and easy to access (Uber, shuttle via hotels or tours directly on site). Admissions are not expensive on site or via the Internet. And at the guide level, you can find them on the Internet too.
This will avoid conflicts on the phone to try to motivate them to stick to the program and prevent your wallet from emptying for no real reason. And it will also avoid being mistaken for idiots with dubious excuses just to justify their scams or incompetence.

Iconic Egypt, flawlessly executed!
Visiting Egypt to see the magnificent sights has been a lifelong dream of mine and my experiece with Egypt Unlimited Tours and our Egyptologist guide, Salama, was absolutely exceptional. Traveling with my son from California, the coordination navigating from arrival to return to the airport and everything in between to explore and experience Egypt’s most iconic sights was executed smoothly and flawlessly and our guide, Salama, brought the history to life in a way that illuminated what we were seeing with relateable context. My son and I are still buzzing from the trip and feel forever touched and grateful to have had this experience. I highly recommend Egypt Unlimited Tours and Salama to guide you through an unforgettable journey that will literally change your life!

Amazing guided tour
This was an incredible visit! The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, the river cruise very enjoyable, and we learned so much. We arrived a day early to acclimate, and got a tour of the brand new Grand Egyptian Museum. Great value for money.

Unforgettable Trip to Egypt
From the minute I contacted Mohamed he was responsive, helpful and incredibly professional. We are a family of 4 (children aged 17 and 14) and did a 9 day/8 night tour of Egypt with 4 nights in Cairo and 4 nights on a Nile River Cruise from Luxor to Aswan. The itinerary was customised for us, taking the things we wanted to see into account and covered everything you could possibly want to see, The hotel accommodation (Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons) was outstanding and the cruise ship (Sonesta) was excellent (especially the food). The trip was also excellent value for money - we could not have arranged it ourselves for the same price. Our guide Ahmed (Friday) has a masters in hieroglyphics and is working towards his PhD. He was extremely knowledgeable and brought the sites to life for us with a great mix of explanation and free time to explore. He also taught us some Arabic - our favourite phrase - "Yalla Bina " (Let's go!) Amongst the many many highlights, hot air ballooning in Luxor was once-in-a lifetime - don't miss this! We could not recommend Mohamed and Egypt Unlimited Tours more highly! One note is to make sure you budget for tips - there are a lot of people that help along the way including meet/greet at the airport, drivers, transportation (boats/feluccas/horse and carriage), as well as the guide of course.

Unforgettable 6-star tailor-made tour!
I can't rate Odynovo and the local guides and helpers highly enough! From the initial tailoring of our 10-day Cairo, Luxor, Nile River Cruise, Aswan, Abu Simbel tour with our travel consultant, Ms Maple Zheng, to our final flight home, we received 6-star service and support. Everything went off without a hitch. Upon arrival, the local airport rep, Mr Ramy Salah, whisked us through the immigration process, avoiding very long lines. The local reps at the airports helped us with the check-in process and even checked us into our local flights online. Our guides provided fast access to all of the sites. Cudos to our two amazing guides; Ms Nihal Nabil in Cairo and Mr Ahmed Youssri from Luxor to Aswan.
Our initial stay was at the historic Marriott Mena House over New Year's with a stunning view of the pyramids, which I can highly recommend. The Nile river cruise on the Movenpick MS Sunray was top-notch, and the food was incredible, with different themes each night. Our final stay was at the beautiful Movenpick Resort on Elephantine Island, with a panoramic restaurant overlooking Aswan.
I recommend flying to Abu Simbel vs driving 3 hours through the desert.

Shukran, Egypt Unlimited!
We enjoyed our tour thoroughly-the Egypt Unlimited team is prompt, professional and personable, and we received 5-star service from arrival to departure.
Covering historical, religious and cultural sites spanning five millennia(Pharoahs) to five decades(Cave Church) is a lot for an 8-day tour! Both our guides(thanks Sheema and Mostafa) were responsive to and respectful of our preferences and priorities.
What we did not expect (on the plus side) - optional and add-on tours definitely enhanced and enriched the entire experience. Abu Simbel in Aswan, Grand Egyptian Museum(GEM) in Cairo, day-trip to Alexandria showcase ancient wonders and modern marvels of engineering and art, while El Moezz/El Khalili streets and Coptic Churches of Cairo are living history and architecture museums.
What we did not expect (on the minus side) - early morning departures for transfers and tours, abrupt sandstorms that shut down towns and activities, noisy and crowded temples with only a fraction of peak-season visitors.
What to expect in Egypt - be prepared for extensive bargaining and frequent tipping.
We arrived in Egypt curious and cautious, enjoyed our 2-night extended stay beyond the 8-day tour and left contented and celebrating Egypt, past and present.

Correct organisation but several major disappointments
We booked an 8-day tour of Egypt via Viator, including travel, accommodation, Nile cruise and guided tours. While some logistical aspects were well managed, the overall experience was not in line with our expectations or what was announced.
Pros:
Transfers between cities were carried out as planned.
- The hotels and the cruise corresponded broadly to the expected level.
Some guides were competent and punctual.
Cons:
1. New Year's supplement (200 USD per person)
Although this supplement was mentioned in advance, we were not informed of the intensity of the program around this evening:
– On 31 December, we took a flight at 6:00 am from Cairo to Aswan, leaving the hotel at 3:30 am.
– On January 1st, we had to leave at 5:00 am for the excursion to Abu Simbel.
Exhausted, we left New Year’s Eve at 10:00 p.m., unable to attend the passage to the new year — a first for us. We therefore consider this supplement to be unjustified.
2. Late return and lost activity on 4 January
The return from Luxor to Cairo was extremely late: we arrived at the hotel at 3:30 a.m. We had to cancel the planned activity that day, with no possibility of refund or alternative.
3. Lack of transparency on the actual program
Several key schedules (very early morning flights, nocturnal returns) were only communicated to us at the last moment. This affected our ability to fully enjoy the trip. Moreover, we were not in a position to challenge on the spot, for fear of compromising the continuation of the program.
Conclusion:
This trip could have been a great experience, but it was marred by a lack of clarity about the actual organization and unjustified additional costs. We hope that Viator will take these comments into account to improve the transparency and quality of the services offered.

Amazing experience in Egypt!
This tour is such a great way to see the main attractions throughout Egypt. It covered so many things in just 1 week. Having private tour guides was amazing. Rania in Cairo and Salama throughout the time on the cruise were perfect for us. They were so welcoming, knowledgeable, and enjoyable to be around. They made us feel at home. Egypt Unlimited Tours had everything covered from the day we arrived to the day we departed. The only suggestion I’d have is to give a little more advanced notice about pickup times, who we’re going to meet with, etc a little bit further in advance. We generally didn’t know what to expect for the next day until the day before, so was a little difficult to plan. But everything always ended up working out as we were told. Thanks for an amazing experience! Would definitely recommend this tour and tour company.
