Fantastic food, great guide, wonderful experience!

Wonderful tasting evening with Magy, covering breakfast, lunch, dinner, desert and the street food delicacies of Cairo. We learned a lot about how locals eat while enjoying fantastic food. Magy is a great guide and adjusted the tour on the fly based on our food interests. Highly recommend, you are in great hands.

10/10!! A must

The experience was incredible, a real dive into Egyptian food culture through stops as surprising as they are delicious. Maggy is a great host and makes the whole tour very rewarding and answers all questions with a smile! I recommend without fail! A must do during your stay in Cairo

Tastes and stories of Cairo

Her passion for sharing her culture and community through foods and stories really impressed me. I throughly enjoyed walking through a vibrant market, sampling over 30 foods from a breakfast place, bakery, pastry shop and getting a taste of a life in Cairo! I’d recommend this tour to anyone curious about Egyptian foods and seeing the real Cairo through eyes of a local.

A must do in Cairo- fabulous FOOD and taste!

Magy is simply a superstar! From the moment our Cairo food tour began, she infused the experience with her vibrant personality, encyclopedic local knowledge, and genuine care for every guest’s enjoyment. We tasted a breathtaking array of Egyptian and international cuisines—from the fluffiest baladi bread and aromatic koshari to exotic street food and sweets—each stop thoughtfully chosen and accompanied by her fascinating insights into culinary traditions and city culture. Magy paced the adventure perfectly, encouraging questions and making sure everyone got a truly authentic and safe experience. She went far above the basics, customizing the tour to our tastes and making spontaneous stops so we could try hidden gems only locals know about. Beyond food, Magy shared stories about Cairo’s history and daily life, and her warmth made the group feel like friends from the start. If you’re seeking an outstanding guide and an unforgettable food journey, book with Magy—you’ll end up with a full belly, a full heart, and wonderful memories to savor forever

An amazing and authentic Cairo experience.

What an incredible tour! This experience with Magy helped me to see an authentically local side of Cairo and Egypt that I never would have experienced otherwise. I tried so many new and unexpected dishes, drinks, and desserts with tips and cultural learnings around every corner. Magy took great care of us, and I will definitely be recommending this tour to everyone I know who plans on coming to Cairo. Thank you!!

Must do in Cairo

The tour was amazing. Magy took us to vibrant local neighborhoods to try so many different kinds of local food. We got very full. She was very genuine and generous with the tastings. My husband and I were a bit worried about getting sick before we went but we were completely fine.

Tour street food Cairo

Very nice discovery of typical dishes of Egyptian daily life, drumming tour because so many things to discover, the guide Meg is passionate and with little care!

A real authentic evening

It was a wonderful evening! We've tasted so much delicious Egyptian food! Hawashi, malachei, kasheri are only things I could remember!) Amal told about breakfast and lunch and dinner, and stoked everything with stories of Egyptian life. It was so great to try all this! I really liked the fact that we didn't go to some fancy white gringo tourist spot, but to real cafes and shops that locals go to. Before that, I was looking at it from the outside, but I was embarrassed to ask, but now I know the names of the dishes, and I'll definitely try to come in and eat them myself! (Especially kasheri and malachei) Plus you'll taste local drinks and sweets. What a wonderful Arabic-style coffee, very rich in spices, I loved it wildly! Definitely recommended if you want to try something real that isn't specifically designed as a tourist trap.

10/10 tour

Absolutely incredible! Our guide was very insightful, sharing her experiences and differences in culture of egypt. The food was amazing! I am still so full one day later. Cannot recommend this tour enough. I also appreciate having a female guide as I felt she was more down to earth and experienced.

Food was good. Guide was okay.

Food was great. Loved experiencing the non-touristy part of Giza. Our guide is what affected my rating. Some times I couldn’t tell if she was annoyed at us (or the other traveler who accompanied us) or if she liked us. Felt like she judged everything we said or what the other traveler said so I kept quiet. If you can get past that then this tour is for you because the food was a great introduction to Egyptian food.
