See the real Cairo with the best guide!!
Beshoy is simply the best tour guide you will find. He is so experienced and knowledgable about the city and its history. I was meant to do it in a pair but my guest couldn’t make it. So I did the trip solo and it was a pleasure to be in Beshoy’s company. As well as showing me the sites of old Cairo, he also took me to some amazing local shops like a perfumerie where I got the best and most authentic service. He looks after you in the negotiation too making sure you get a good price. I got some amazing oils for great value and some amazing pieces from the bazaar. Doing a solo trip I also got to know a bit about Beshoy as a person. He’s a wonderful guy and I’d throughly recommend anyone who wants to see the real Cairo to be guided by Beshoy. Thank you so much

Although we repeated my request organizer to keep pick up time as we have afternoon flight, Unfortunately, the guide arrived 15 minutes late than promised pick up time. But others are OK. The guide is knowledgeable and kind.

Overpriced, under whelming with a possibility of fraud
The guide's knowledge about the city and places was lacking. For instance, she said the population of the city was about 1M. That's off by 10x at least. Not a good narrator or story teller. Besides that, the tour operator asked for $30 to pick us up from Sheraton, across the river from their stated pickup place. We were about to get an Uber for $1.50. Heavy sales pitch ensued right away with Whatsapp, to take other tours with them. And they kept pestering us to change the tour start time to an hour earlier than we had booked. Right before the tour, we agreed to meet them half an hour earlier. Immediately, I got an email from viator, saying "as per our discussion" we have charged you extra $110 for change the the tour. I immediately told viator that I had had no conversation with anyone at viator about agreeing to this extra cost. The time change was to accommodate the tour guide, not us. The charge was reversed. But I still wonder if this is their modus operandi, as some people will not notice the email notification and end up paying extra without even realizing it. Avoid this operator.

A perfect morning in Historic Cairo.
The tour was really great. Our guide Ahmed was extremely competent, and gave us lots of insights and information, so that we could have better understand the context of what we were viewing. We appreciated a lot the fact that he understood our preferences and adapted the tour. I highly recommend this tour and mostly to do it with Ahmed, to better understand the beautiful center of Cairo. A special note also for our driver, Hisham, that’s been extremely kind, always perfectly on time and with a super smooth driving, even in the very chaotic city such as Cairo! Well done Hisham! Excellent tour with a wonderful guide
I had a wonderful visit with my guide, Asma. She was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions clearly. She knew her subject extremely well. She also asked if there were any specific places I wanted to visit, which made the experience feel very personal and flexible. Asma was very professional, friendly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the tour. She was thoughtful and always offered to help by taking photos, which I truly appreciated. The visit was well organized, relaxed, and I learned a lot during the experience. I highly recommend Asma and would gladly book with her again.
