An incredible tour guide that I wanted everyone to know about
My friend and I just got baxk from the most amazing trip To Egypt. Aswan travel provided our own personal Egyptologist,Mohamed Mustafa. He was so knowledgeable.. He met us at the airport with a driver and everyday day there after . Having Mustafa made our trip so special,we had several guides after him, I wish we had him our entire trip! We were thoroughly versed about the temples before we went in and during our tours. He was always so upbeat and his English was perfect. Some days we just cut short, we were tired no problem I hired Mustafa for an extra day in Luxor. It is do worth staying in Luxor after a cruise because there is so much to see there , one day is not enough. I can’t wait for the GEM museum to open in Cairo so I can return and see my friend, Mustafa to learn more about Egypt.

Amazing Tour, Ship and Guide
We had a truly memorable 3 night 4 day tour from Aswan to Luxor on the Amwaj Livingstone. Communication with the agent Hany was very good beforehand and all payments easy to administer. The ship was amazing, very luxurious and we even received a free upgrade to the Presidential Suite! Food was very varied and fresh, the Egyptian night food was especially tasty. The highlight though was our personal guide Ismail Haroun! From meeting us from our hotel on the first morning to dropping us off at our hotel on the last day he was professional, kind, incredibly knowledgeable and fun to be with. He felt like a personal friend by day 4. I am so glad we chose this tour and it made a memorable holiday even more special.

Customised, professional and flexible
We chose Luxor Asswan travel after extensive web search. They organised a 7 days- 6 nights custom program for two of us, combining Cairo and surroundings and Asswan Luxor boat trip. I can only say the lever of their organisation and our guides exceeded our high expectations. They were alway where they promised to be, on time. They delivered as agreed and most importantly, stayed very flexibly to changes, even within the day. For example we asked them to change the last day which we planned for an Alexandria trip to a Sakhara and Dashur day. Adding Cairo Citadel? No problem. All in all there we as precise as a swiss service and as flexible as flexible as a bazaar seller, in a positive way. I want to note the amazing professional backgrounds of our guides - both Mohammed in Cairo and Hassan in Luxor provided a depth of historic and cultural understanding. I'm a historian by background, but they did not disappoint. Few time Ivcould ask something they were not sure about, but then they searched up and followed up. It was amazing to see them fluently reading hyerogliph text, in all three format. They shared their views on contemporary civil matters. If you can afford such highly customised services, it adds great value and efficiency, you can get most of of a limited time trip. One final note: do no underestimate the tipping on your budget - we kind of expected tipping to be the norm, but that exceeded expectations too, even guards at museums and protected place let you go within a cordon for tips. Police lets you park in unusual places. One can count on 10% added butget for tips, on my overall experience. Thanks Luxor &Asswan travel and Hany for organising such memorable experience and Mohammed and Hassan to deliver it impaccably.

Awesome Stress Free Nile Cruise
Best ever! Our tour guide Wallid was absolutely fantastic. We were so looked after and everything was so organized and attention to detail was beyond. Gomas our driver was also a gem, best driver ever. Mohamed and Iman who guided us to and through airports were terrific and made it so stress free. The Royal Lily crew was above and beyond. What a phenomenal team. Someone to guide us from the moment we landed till the time we flew out. We also had the pleasure of meeting Khalid, the owner-very nice person! Would highly recommend this trip!

Great guide through the ancient Egyptian Civilization
Ahmed Mostafa, from Aswan Luxor individual, has been an excellent guide throughout the days on the ship. Not only he is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Egyptology,Egyptian civilisation, and culture, he is also always very eager to reply to any question. Furthermore, he is very kind and always willing to go the extra mile to help with any issues that may occur during the stay on the ship. Since Moustafa himself is from Luxor, he really tries to pass along his passion for the history and the beauty of the city. We truly recommend his guidance throughout the monuments and temples of Upper Egypt!

Nice service
The boat is clean and the staff are very careful!
Each group of guests will have a guide, the guide is very careful to explain, but the trip is a bit compact and takes less time to take photos
Overall I liked this cruise 👍🏻
Only the kitchen oil smoke is a bit heavy, after eating the meal the body will smell oil fume 🙂
Guide is: Ahmed Selim
Chef: Ahmed Akawy
Cruise quality in Egypt is very poor
I sincerely recommend everyone to find this quality, the trip will be more comfortable😊

Cruise trip
We participated in the January 2023 Aswan to Luxor trip, cruising the boat is really nice, customer service staff are very attentive, three bottles of water per day is basic, the basic cleaning service in the room is very fast, do not worry about towels not enough, and drinking tea, coffee and so on should be all the best, very happy to know our guide Ahmed Selim, he is very kind and humble, the trip here, each team has a guide, so very self-sufficient, the trip can be changed, the trip can be followed by the tour discussions, they will help as much as possible arrangement, in addition, each staff of the restaurant is very kind and friendly, and will also actively inquire about the feeling, here every day is a lot of food, fast fun! I am very impressed that the foreign actors who are very similar to the movie look like Ahmed Aakwy He is a friendly gentleman, with an eagle nose, he is also very responsible to tour the table, ask if there is still a place to help, in short, to take beautiful photos to experience very friendly service can choose Farah

A Trip of a Lifetime
We can not say enough good things about Hany and L & A Tours!! First, let me say that Egypt was totally out of my box. I’ve travelled throughout Europe and the Caribbean, on tours and by boat. So I was nervous about a few things going to Egypt (the language, food, water). Here are the highlights:
*Hany was amazing! Every question we had he answered via email very promptly. He kept in touch with us throughout out trip to see how everything was going. We really felt like he had us covered.
*We felt very safe and comfortable the entire trip. We had an SUV, driver and guide all to ourselves and we basically were only on our own at the hotels in Cairo (which were AMAZING - Le Meridian and Fairmont). Traveling with just a driver and a guide was so nice! No large groups. And one thing we noticed, we had all our entry tickets in advance. We breezed through so many lines and crowds!!
*Best. Guides. Ever. Mohamed was actually on our plane from Cairo to Aswan. We met up at baggage claim in Aswan and he took care of us for 4 days. Now here is the important part and what I believe separates L&A from the other companies. Mohamed is an Egyptologist. Before each place, he sat us down and explained (even with a handwritten diagram) what we were going to see. No kidding, by the 3rd day we were recognizing hieroglyphics. Learning how to “read” some of what we were seeing. We met people who had guides that didn’t really go in depth, and we really felt they missed out on quite a bit. If you’re going to travel quite a distance to see amazing things, then learn as much as you can about what you’re seeing. Mohamed made Egypt come to life for us and that made the trip that much more incredible.
*Our boat was the Farrah. Clean, classy, good food and great service! We did one of the more expensive packages, and it was SO worth it. There will be times when you have to go through some of the other boats lobbies. No comparison. And the staff was wonderful!
*The tours and sights were great. We do wish we added a day and did Abu Simbel. But other than that, everything was fantastic. Loved each place (especially the ones that we saw in the lights at night).
*We were delivered to the Luxor airport where Hany had someone check us in. SO nice! In Cairo, we were met at baggage claim and taken the the Fairmont. Picked up the next morning by a different Mohamed. Another fantastic guide (and another Egyptologist!) who took us through the Egyptian Museum, the Pyramids & Sphinx and the Khalili Bazaar. I wasn’t wild about going to the bazaar, but Mohamed helped us navigate negotiations with vendors and also kept some of the sales people away. Make sure to try the Egyptian specialty Koshary. Mohamed took us to Abou Tarek and it was delicious!!
*Both of our guides were very well educated in the history and landmarks. They were not only informative, but they really wanted us to love what we were seeing. They were great and I attribute most of our amazing adventure to them.
*Neither of us had any ill affects from food or water. We attribute that to the hotels we picked and the Farah. Never worried about the water as everything was bottled and you could tell these places made sure you could brush your teeth, shower….w/o any issues.
*The only tip I have (aside from spending a bit more money for the upgrades) is to make sure you have tip money. Egyptians will take euros and dollars, but you’ll need LE5 for public restrooms and money to tip EVERYONE. Stick with your guide and they will help you navigate this process. When we didn’t have the right amount, our guide did.
This was one of the most amazing adventures we have ever been on. A trip of a lifetime and this was completely due to Luxor and Aswan Tours. Cannot thank them enough.
