Best guide in Egypt
Doaa seems to be one of the best persons and guides we've met in Egypt. She's smart, charismatic, friendly and really enjoys what she does. At the same time she provides you lots of interesting information, doing that in a very delicate way. Highly recommended for everybody!

Must do
The only way to go is by boat and it is a breathtaking trip. Once you reach ask for Saad the monument keeper and he will guide you through the history of the temple and how it was moved to its current location after the Nile flood back in the days.

Friendly and professional guides and staff
Very professional and friendly team. I was met in the morning by Mohammed who bought water and snacks for me. He introduced me to my guide and also helped at the end of the trip get my bags organized for my transfer to Luxor. My guide was Sharif - excellent English and very knowledgeable - I learned a lot about the history of Egypt, the dam and the temple. Perfect balance of time explaining and individual time to walk around and take photos. Make sure you take plenty of cash - as stated you are responsible for entry fees and boat - total was 480 EGP.

Beautiful Temple, Knowledgeable and Friendly Guide
This was a great way to end my stay in Aswan. I just had the morning before heading on to Luxor - pick up and drop off were on time and easy. Mohammed met with snacks and introduced my guide, he also helped me getting my bags from the hotel and to my car - very professional and friendly. My guide, Sharif, was very knowledgeable - he shared lots of interesting information about the history and culture of Egypt as well as specific info about the dam and temple. A nice balance of time explaining and individual time to wander and take photos. Make sure you have plenty of cash with you - the price does not include entry to Aswan Dam (100) or the Temple (180) or the boat to the temple (200).

Yousra best guide
High dam, Philae
Yousra was the perfect tour guide. She has also been the first tour guide to connect with us on a personal level. Her English was impeccable even using common slang words most dont understand. I think this skill comes from her love of movies. She truly loves what she is doing. We are a young couple 28 and 33 from Newport, Oregon. If we had more time in Aswan, we would have taken more tours with her. I regret not exchanging information because it felt like we could have a good friendship.
The tour was great. The history of the low and high dam, the political influence, the Nubians and nile being effected. Philae was one of the sites relocated to preserve it before the dam. It was excellent.
