Bad experience and felt cheated

The driver was rude and callus. Doesn’t understand or barely follows English. Repeatedly requested him to turn on ac as we’re suffocating due to hot weather. He ignored until he himself started feeling it. But was blocking our way for tips at the end. Almost all drivers across every tour had non-English speaking people though booking information clearly promising otherwise!! Got tired of using translators for every bit of basic things. BAD EXPERIENCE!! The guide was good this time. But he purchased tickets for Turkish mansion without asking us and later we had to pay him. We’re allowed only 20 mins to just walk outside the mansion for 20 mins. Felt cheated. Also didn’t take us to the historic place “Citadel of Qaitbay”. Showed us from miles away. I shouldn’t have booked it for being cheated. Our companion traveling family expressed similarly.

Coolest tour guide!

The trip was very well organised, it was slow pace and comfortable. Our tour guide Karim was super fun and cool! He didn't rush us and explained everything in detail allowing us time to ask him questions. We had time at each attractions for pictures and to explore. Karim is a wonderful tour guide, he gave us great advice and didn't push us to go into gift shops or for tips. Thank you Karim for your care and professionalism. Hope to meet again one day!

Fun and informative tour of Alexandria

We went to Alexandria from Cairo on a day trip. Transported by van. We had a nice route through the city and visited all the spots defined in offer. Our guide Karim was great support and provided us with information in a charming and fun way.

Heba, the Queen of Alexandria

Heba. Words can't express how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to experience such a beautiful city with such a beautiful human being. Your love and knowledge of your culture and history was inspiring. I don't think it's necessary to bullet point the places we visited, we hit everything on the list. Your warmth and compassion made our conversations feel natural. There was no communication barrier between us. From the coffee at the Brazilian Coffee Store to the delicious meal at Branzino, you were everything I was hoping for. And thank you for continuing to reach out to make sure that I made it home safe. 🙏 Shukran.

An Unforgettable Day Exploring Alexandria

We had such a wonderful day trip to Alexandria and couldn’t recommend it more highly. Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic—so friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the history and culture of the area. The day was perfectly planned, with a great balance of interesting information and free time to explore at our own pace, which made the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable rather than rushed. We really appreciated how the guide shared insights in an engaging way without overwhelming us, and also gave us space to take everything in and enjoy each stop. It felt very personalised and thoughtfully organised. A special mention to our driver as well, who was excellent throughout the day. The car was comfortable, the journey was smooth, and the music made the trip even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a memorable experience and a highlight of our trip. We’d absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Egypt!

Not the best of days

To begin with, the drive to, from, and throughout the tour was terrible. The ad said it would be an air-conditioned vehicle; however, the air conditioning was not turned on until we were 10 minutes from Alexandria, necessitating open windows, which, with the air quality here, made things a bit unpleasant. The driver - while originally pleasant in demeanor - drove very erratically, very fast and sharp, then braking hard...which would have been fine in a bad traffic situation; however, this was on the highway, where we couldn't figure out what was causing this behavior. On the drive home, for over an hour, there was a constant "beeping" sound that became extremely annoying. While I cannot fault him for the poor rural road conditions and the overall crazy driving conditions here in Egypt, we felt we were being tossed around rather more than we should have been. The drive home was terrible, and when my husband chose not to tip the driver, the driver became upset and yelled at my husband. Where we come from, tipping is a courtesy, given for exemplary service, not just an expectation. This soured our feelings significantly. We arrived back at our hotel, physically exhausted just from trying to maintain ourselves in the van. Our guide in Alexandria, Whalid, was a genuinely nice person. A small problem was that he spoke so rapidly and with a low voice that my husband could barely hear/understand him. He (Whalid) did try, though, and he was very nice. He gave us a lot of information about the sites we visited, told funny jokes, and we enjoyed his company! A final "issue" we had was that the tour itinerary said we would be visiting the Anwar Sadat Museum (which we never did) while we were at the Alexandria Library. Another stop that was supposed to be on the itinerary was the Montaza Palace/Montaza Gardens. We never made it there either, and no explanation for why was offered. I did not realize until we had left for Giza that we hadn't been taken there. It was a full day, still, if you offer something and it isn't completed, then an explanation of why should be offered to the customer.

Beautiful Alexandria in March

We had an amazing day in Alexandria with Norhan as our guide with her driver Moustafa. The pair was excellent and very patient. We never missed any event they had indicated we'd visit. She made the trip so memorable in that we have recommended her to others who want to visit Alexandria in the future. It was a trip back in time. A trip back from the Catacombs took us thru the crowded parts of the city and we got a taste of both worlds. The beautiful places like the Palace of King Faroùk and the also where the majority of the people live. We did some shopping also along the way. It was fantastic 👏 👌
