A must do experience with Mila, the very best way to first capture the vibrant pulse and taste of Cairo!
The food was delicious, plentiful, authentic. We traveled in a tuk tuk, car to make sure we saw the very best variety of Cairo. It was so fantastic! Come hungry! You could basically eat anything that you wanted !!

Fantastic Egyptian Food Adventure
What a great evening we had with Mila! She met us promptly at 6:00!
We visited an area of Cairo filled with life and delicious food. She graciously accommodated our vegetarian diets. When she tells you to come hungry she means it! I highly recommend this tour.

MUST NOT MISS...will never forget!
Magy is the type of host that makes you feel immediately at home and like you've known her forever. What a special person with a talent for creating unforgettable experiences. This tour showed me a part of Cairo that I wouldn't get to see but am so grateful I got a chance to experience; the food, the community, the people...so warm, vibrant, and amazing that it's tough to put into words, especially for someone who views the world through (the limitations of) a western mindset. I would take this tour again and again and I'd recommend it for anyone who wants to experience the REAL Cairo...which is beautiful. Shokran!

Culturally rich adventure through CC the lens of local culinary traditions
Magyy created a once in a lifetime experience articulating Cairo's rich and vibrant culture through a fantastic culinary journey. By taking us places no traveler would ever go on their own, we were grateful to see a side of Cairo that exists beyond the Hotel district and Zamalek. Magyy's tour is perfect for those who are interested in more than the tourist façade; for those who are seeking an adventure sure to make your time in Cairo much more informative and valuable. Do it!

Experience Local Cuisine with Magy
Magy is an enthusiastic and warm guide who made our visit truly special. She took us to a local night market, where we had a fantastic time exploring and tasting a variety of dishes. Her deep knowledge of Egyptian food and culture enriched the experience, allowing us to learn and appreciate more. Plus, you can try as many different foods as you like!

A great tour for the price (or less) of a diner in Europe
During my week in Egypt, one of the most delightful experiences I had was a food tour with Magy. As a foodie, I was excited to explore the local cuisine, but my travel companion, my son, was having stomach issues and wanted to stay in the hotel. However, at the last minute (just an hour before the tour), I booked with Magy, and the communication and arrangements went smoothly.
Magy drove us from our hotel area in Cairo to a neighborhood that tourists typically don’t visit. During our time together, we explored the various locations where the ingredients are sourced and experienced different types of restaurants serving a rich variety of dishes. Magy explained the menu items and guided us through the kitchen, showcasing everything with passion. It's clear she's well-respected, as we were treated like royalty with full meals and generous tastings.
Be sure to come hungry! You'll also have the chance to take stunning, colorful photos throughout the tour. I gained so much knowledge about Egyptian cuisine and culture from this experience.
Magy is a wonderful, authentic lady, and I highly recommend this food tour to anyone visiting Egypt.

Immerse Yourself in the local Cairo Scene and Cuisine
Magy has been very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole tour!! I am such a huge foodie and I enjoyed a lot walking alongside with her to immerse myself in the local scene of Cairo, which could be intimidating if you don’t have a local leading the way!! Magy tells stories about every dish, every small bite, and the restaurant she leads us to, the people are super nice too!!
Magy! Thank you very much for making my first night in Cairo very memorable and delicious!!
Cheers! Fellow Travelers!!

Good tour - beware logistics
We did the Cairo food tour shortly after arriving in the city from London. We visited a variety of different casual dining joints from market stalls to small diners, the food in each was very good, novel (to us as first time visitors to Egypt) and the food hygiene standards were high. Our only note would be that there was some ambiguity at the end of the tour as to whether the experience involved drop-off back to the pick-up site (which was beside our hotel in Downtown Cairo). It ultimately turned out not to, and caution is advised for (particularly female) travellers walking through Cairo at night, as the experience can be somewhat intimidating even if accompanied by a make.

One of the best food tours we have been on
A very authentic experience that really gives you an insight into the local life of Egyptians and what they eat. Mila is friendly, and an excellent guide who answered all the questions we had. We finished the tour satisfied and very full, make sure you come to the tour hungry and pace yourself so you can try everything (we probably ate too much bread too early ☺️). Highly recommend when in Cairo, one of our favourite food tours globally.
