Excellent education of Alexandria

Long drive but worth the experience. Shaimaa knows her history and all about Alexandria. Some times a little hard to track due to all the other noise. Very friendly and professional

False advertisement

Its only cover 5 places, and i get public group with other people instead of private group. Place of choice to visit should let tourist decide.

Day trip to Alexandria with our guide Shaima

The family visited Alexandria and had a wonderful day with Shaima our tour guide. She is from Alexandria and is knowledgable. She took us to all the unique sights in Alexandria like catacombs, Alexandria library ( impressive place), the arena and pharaoh island. She gave us information and time to see the place for ourselves. She is kind, patient and ensured the family had a fun day. At the end of the day she took us for lunch at a lovely restaurant by the sea side and we had a delicious lunch

Naelah was an excellent tour guide. Her knowledge is very extensive in Egyptian history and Alexandria. She gave lots of background for every site we went to. Our drive was amazing to getting us to Alexandria from Cairo and back again.

We had an amazing time exploring Alexandria with our guide, Shaimaa! She was nothing but kind to us and very informative. We were with her for several hours and all of it was a pleasure. This is best for family, friends, or tour groups looking to take a day trip from Cairo to Alexandria. Wouldn’t do it any other way!

Lovely day in Alexandria

Lovely day visiting the ancient sites of Alexandria . Our guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out the mixture of Egyptian , Greek and Roman influences in the Catacombs . Visits to a Roman theatre, a church a mosque and the citadel and the amazing library were all packed in to one day . Finishing with a meal in a great sea food restaurant overlooking the harbour.

Alexandria highlights hits the mark

The inclusive private tour was perfect -- we didn't waste time getting tickets/access as our Narmer tour took care of it. While the trip from Cairo is long, the day in Alexandria was well worth it. We got to see all the sites -- catacombs, fort, coptic church/mosque, roman ruins, library -- with both superb guide highlights and historical context as well as to enjoy on our own. Our guide, Shaimaa, was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and helpful. The Egyptian seafood meal was excellent.

Long drive, but we felt...

Long drive, but we felt it was worth it to see the highlights of Alexandria. The driver played the Quran out loud in the car for the entire round trip drive, which made it difficult to hear the guide speaking in between stops. We were hesitant to say anything for fear of coming off disrespectful or insensitive to the local culture and religion. Aside from our experience in the car, the tour was as described. Our guide gave us a walkthrough at each of the sites we visited and then gave us some free time to explore on our own, which we appreciated. We were a bit skeptical about going to a restaurant called the Fish Market for lunch, but the food was decent, the views were great, and the location is a restaurant despite the name.
