Great tour with excellent tour-guide.

Great tour to an impressive geological heritage resulting from long-term global warming - a waterfall in the dessert, sandboarding etc. Our tourguide, Amr, was terrific and well informed.

Best experience

We had a wonderful day, great views, a very entertaining boat tour, sandboarding and a good meal. What made this day unforgettable was also our guide and driver (who also spent the day with us). Medhat and Toni were really great, we laughed a lot, exchanged a lot and they taught us a lot about the customs and customs of Egypt. We felt like we were spending time with friends. Thanks to them!

Sand in your Shoes.

Was picked up my Mohamed on time from my hotel and brought on a wonderful day tour to El Fayoum. It was nice to get out of Cairo. Mohamed was great fun but unfortunately I chickened out of sand boarding. Thank you for a wonderful trip and I would recommend it without hesitation.

Good for an escape from Cairo

We booked this trip not knowing what to expect as it wasn't something we knew of, but Essam made it a trip to remember! Faiyum is a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of Cairo, with the lakes and scenery offering a nature escape while still having history associated with it! We drove out, had a customary egyptian coffee, then climbed up some rock formations at jabal al medawara in the park before heading to the lake for a boat ride out which was relaxing once we got on the water. Bit of sandboarding after and we were back for a quick lunch before heading back to Cairo. What stood out apart from the stunning scenery was Essam's patience and hospitality. We wanted to do some shopping and he took us to the good spots to buy coffee and spices as well as some custom made papyrus, before taking me to a place to buy a Mohammed Salah jersey! All in all a great tour and recommended for something to do outside Cairo.

Good experience

Private trip. Driver was excellent. Omar very fun and informative. Lunch was plentiful and the timing was good, but the food was not as tasty as other food we ate in Egypt. The 4x4 ride in the desert was really fun and exciting.

Daytrip from Cairo to El Fayoum Oasis

I had the most fun day with Muhammad to visit the oasis, climbing a mountain, cruising on a boay and try some sandboarding! He was kind enough to teach me some arabic too :) Pro tip: urge him to sing! He sings well :)

A memorable day tour

I like the activities arranged in this tour around Wadi Al-Hitan. The intact Basilosaurus fossils of an early whale – dating about 40 million years ago – were uncovered during an excavation in the same vast desert at Wadi Al-Hitan, a natural World Heritage site. The fossils represent a major step in Earth’s history when whales evolved from land-based to ocean-going mammals. The tour guide Essam is a pleasant young man who tries hard to please. We could not have done the tour without such a guide to help us navigate. Expect extra charges for various activities, adjustments in previous agreed times, and equipment that may not have all the parts. All in all it’s a worthwhile day tour from Cairo to get away from the city.
