Excellent Tour for Interesting Spots

Heba was a fantastic tour guide. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the sites we went to, and very accommodating since we had a limited amount of time. We greatly enjoyed the sites we went to - they were all very interesting.

Ask for Rasha and Haney

Rasha and Haney were the best possible companions to show me around all I needed to see and know about beautiful Alexandria. Haney was always smiling and welcoming every time I entered the car. Rasha is knowledgeable and easy going. Everything was what I expected and more. Rasha went many steps above and beyond a tour guide helping to locate a particular book I wanted and was able purchase. I would give them both an 11 on a scale of 10

Best of the best in Alexandria

Nadal brought history into focus. Her engaging description of life then made the sights and sounds transform you to that place and time. I enjoy history and historical sites, and this experience brought the two together. Her back stories as to how these landmarks were uncovered (I'm thinking of the donkey here) and although the donkey died, this landmark has since become a notable landmark, rich with history. And if that wasn't enough, we then went onto the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, where we were free to roam on our own as every was really captivating. The antiquities museum there is full of displays where she skillfully detailed the meanings behind the inscriptions. And we can not forget our driver, Hany! He navigated the traffic effortlessly. The drive from point A to B was a tour in and of itself, taking us through communities and markets, oh, and the local food! We forgot we were on a tour as we became family visiting family sharing good, OMG, good food! The fish, seafood- smorgasbord, the tea, and the different flavors of ice cream left our palettes and our stomachs beyond happy. This day was phenomenal, and these two, this tour and its itinerary, made our time in Alexandria monumental.

Best visit in Alexandria

Our guide Aala was wonderful. She and her driver were very accommodating to all our requests. They took us to a mosque, a Catholic Church, the Library, and the Catacomb (our favorite). Aala took us to a fantastic local restaurants and she helped us oder all the delicious food. We also got to see a local stockfeed live market, and we saw a traditional Egyptian funeral. It was a fantastic day, and our guides were excellent.

Everywhere we wanted to see

From beginning to end, Karim was an excellent, chatty, personable guide. He did a good mix of showing-and-telling, and then leaving us on our own for a bit. He was a safe driver (rare in Egypt!) which made the tour more enjoyable. Really loved the Coptic church and its attached (secure) community, and the hotel where Churchill met General Montgomery.

Looking for the Ultimate 4-Hour Tour? This Team Delivers!

High accolades go to our guide, Rasha, & our driver, Ramy. Working in tandem, both provided us with a half day of knowledge & entertainment! Ramy was well-versed in driving through Alexandria (no stop lights anywhere) & Rasha spoke pristine English & was a wealth of info. She was very accommodating, letting us veer from normal attractions for a quick stop for medicine for hubby. Ramy was ‘on it’ by noticing we needed water and stopped for us. After three hours, we’d seen the sites: the Catacombs, the cathedral, the ruins, & the fort, Rasha arranged for us to stop for lunch at the Greek Club. It was a lovely location overlooking the city. Anytime we had a question, Rasha was there to explain & carried photos for an even better visual experience. I especially appreciated the added attraction of seeing where St. Mark was buried under the chapel. If you are looking for a 4 hour private, air conditioned auto, with a wealth of info, Rasha and Ramy are your excellent guides!

Great day in Alexandria, Egypt.

We had a great day with Kareem as our guide. Kareem spoke very good English & took us all over town. He was very good about letting us set the pace on what interested us & how much time we wanted to stay at each stop. Kareem was very funny, friendly, professional & knowledgeable. We had a great day. Thank you Kareem!!!

Very average. Little actual guiding.

We saw another guide at each attraction who was giving four or five times as much information as this guide. At the museum, she only talked about one single exhibit in the entire 30 minutes we were there. Even though we said we didn’t want to go to one attraction because we had been there before, she still directed us away from seeing the mosque. It was too far in the opposite direction Apparently. The tour ended in less than five hours when it was supposed to be 6 to 7.
